Vietnamese- inspired Avocado Smoothie

Hello! Here it is, another long-ish weekend with another biggie movie sequel that hits the theatres. Did you get on to the “express” bandwagon last week? Are you going to the theatre “dobara” now? Me? I’m just skipping breakfast these days aaand waiting for _Jobs, _the movie. And eating guacamole while my friends make cucumber and avocado soup.

Wait, that’s a lot of avocado talk. And I’m not technically skipping breakfast either, in fact I’m just having more avocados _for_breakfast! This Vietnamese inspired avocado smoothie is my way of having breakfast on the go on days when sitting at the table is a luxury that time just won’t allow me. Which is pretty often. Also, I’ve been stuck in an oatmeal rut for years! This smoothie is a quick chopping-whirling-slurping kind of breakfast that is so REFRESHING for the taste buds.

What’s that I hear you say? You love avocados but can’t fathom slurping it down in a smoothie? Just trust me, you’ll love this as much as the ‘tender coconut’ ice cream at Natural. The addition of condensed milk makes all the difference and gives it a distinct South- East Asian flavour. The good folks in Vietnam call this smoothie ‘sinh to bo’! Give it a go, trust me. J.
